Featured Lithionics GTX12V320
Fits perfectly under the LTV step where the two factory 6V batteries were. It's a starting and deep-cycle battery, so it runs your house loads and starts the generator.
We often work on Leisure Travel Vans, especially the LTV Unity. From a few more panels to a full lithium and Victron system, we design each install around your van and how you travel, and build it clean enough to be proud of.

A van roof doesn't leave much room. Between the air conditioner and the roof vents, every square foot counts, so we don't drop a kit on top. We lay out the array to fit your LTV, then plan the charge controller, wiring and battery side to match.
On the LTV Unity at the top of this page, we fit seven 100W panels around the air conditioner and roof vents, all on our own manual tilt brackets so the owner can angle them toward the low winter sun. On another Unity, pictured here, we fit eight 100W panels.

Tilting your panels toward the low winter sun gets more harvest from the same roof. We make two different kinds of tilt in-house: individual manual tilt brackets for each panel, or a remote-control tilt rack, which is also an option on the LTV Unity.
Our manual tilt brackets are cut on our CNC mill right here in the shop and made to fit your van. Each panel tilts on its own, and you set the angle by hand. They're what's on the LTV Unity above.

A remote-control tilt rack is an option on the LTV Unity. It's a custom aluminum rack we fabricate in-house, and it tilts the panels up with a key fob instead of by hand.
For LTV lithium upgrades we use the Lithionics GTX12V320. It fits perfectly under the step where the two factory 6V batteries were, and because it's a starting and deep-cycle battery, it can also start your generator. Then we tie it together with Victron charging and monitoring so you can see exactly what your system is doing.

In an LTV, and in many other rigs, the house battery also starts the generator. Most Class A, B and C motorhomes also have a momentary boost switch on the dash, often called "aux start." If the chassis battery is dead, you hold it down to jump-start the engine from the house battery without leaving the driver's seat.
The GTX12V320 is a starting and deep-cycle battery, so it handles both jobs.

MultiPlus-II inverter/chargers, SmartSolar MPPT controllers, Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC chargers to charge from the alternator while you drive, plus Lynx Distributors and the Cerbo GX to see it all.

Every build is sized to how you travel. For owners who want to go all-in, our biggest LTV builds have included:
That second alternator charges the house bank while you drive: about 150A at idle and around 250A at highway speed, all without running the generator.
This Unity is on the 3.0 Sprinter diesel chassis. All three Lithionics GTX12V320 batteries sit in the compartment just to the left of the door, along with the Victron MultiPlus 3000 inverter/charger and the Wakespeed regulator. It also has the 280A secondary alternator kit, a Cerbo GX, a GX Touch 70 and 800 W of solar. On this build we used 600A busbars instead of a Lynx because we needed more cable locations and angles.

In a van, everything is tight, so the quality of the install matters even more. Cables run in loom, grouped and clamped. Components are laid out so every connection can be reached, checked and serviced later. No shortcuts and no exposed wiring.
If you want a fast shoddy job don't go here. They take pride in only turning out quality work at a fair price.

Yes. We often work on Leisure Travel Vans, and the Unity is one we see a lot. The eight-panel array on this page is on an LTV Unity.
Yes. For LTVs we use the Lithionics GTX12V320. It fits perfectly under the step where the two factory 6V batteries were, and it's a starting and deep-cycle battery: it can start the generator and works with the dash boost ("aux start") switch. We add Victron charging and monitoring to match. We'll look at how you camp and what you want to run before we recommend a system.
Two different kinds. Individual manual tilt brackets, one set per panel, machined in-house on our CNC mill; you set the angle by hand. Or, on the LTV Unity, a remote-control tilt rack: a custom aluminum rack we fabricate that tilts the panels with a key fob.
